Some New Pictures

We are currently in Seattle and I have a bunch of pictures on my camera that I needed to download to make space for all our vacations photos. Some of the pictures are from a belated baby shower at work.

Savannah's Happy Place

I call Savannah's 'happy place' the spot directly under her lady bug mobile. She absolutely loves it. Just looking at it she smiles, and when it rotates and plays music the smiles are huge. Today, I was changing her outfit while she was laying in the crib so she could look at the lady bugs. I noticed Savannah having huge smiles even when the mobile was not moving. I actually thought she was going to start giggling. I realized it was because the lady bugs were touching my face as I bent down into the crib. Every time I touched one she would smile. Then I tried kissing one... see what happens. It was so cute Brian had to take a movie clip of it.

New Outfit from Grandma

Savannah was given a cute pink and brown pant outfit with a huge bow and matching socks. The outfit is from Luann's Dress Shop in Long Beach, CA. My Mom and Grandma used to take me there to buy dresses for me when I was little. We also picked up her Easter dress and I cannot wait to post pictures.

I realized that I haven't posted a picture of Lily lately. This picture shows how mellow she is getting now that Savannah lives here. Brian looks so tired. He had just got home from a long 18 hour day. He goes to work at 5 am and doesn't come home until 10 pm after school.
I love you honey... only 10 weeks left!

2 Month Checkup

Weight: 11 pounds and 9 ounces
Height: 24 1/4 inches
Head Circumference 15 1/2 inches

She is in the 75th percentile for weight, and she is actually OFF THE CHART for height. She is considered 100th percentile for height. She also has a slightly bigger head than other baby's at the 75th percentile. Below is a good picture wither her legs straight out to show how long she is!

She also got her vaccinations today. She screamed so hard that my heart hurt. She has been fussy and sleepy all day. She had the Polio Vaccine, the Diphtheria Tetanus and Pertussis Vaccines, the Haemophilus Influenzae Type b Vaccine, the Rotavirus Vaccine, and the Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine. After I told Brian all about her shots he told me that his Grandpa Bill had Polio. That is just crazy to me.
Tonight she went with me to enrichment night at church, and I dressed her up in this really cute outfit that looks like a teddy bear. She was held by a ton of different people and did so well. She put on a little smiling show for them. I just love her SO much!!!

First Day at Church

We took Savannah to her first day of Church today. It was so much fun to see all of our friends and to show off our beautiful baby girl.

This is just a really cute picture. She is looking more grown up every day. Oooo... I just love her!

100th Post

In our house there is a strange problem.

Babies are supposed to sleep on their backs. Savannah loves to sleep on her tummy.

Dogs are supposed to sleep on their stomachs, but Lilly likes to sleep on her back.

Here is a picture of Matt holding Savannah for the first time. Yes, the first time. Although Matt comes over every week he has been too scared to hold a newborn. This last time I just forced him to hold her. It lasted about 60 seconds. She started to move and he got really nervous.

Brian's Parents in Seattle LOVED watching the video of Savannah. So, every week I am going to post a video of Savannah just being her. Nothing special just so everyone can see how she is moving around. In this video you can see how she is following objects with her eyes and how she goes to grab things (like the camera). Also, try to listen for a strange noise... it's pretty loud for such a small baby.

Since this is my 100th post on our blog I just wanted to say how much I enjoy blogging. In some way it is almost therapeutic. It is a really awesome way to journal and so much fun to share it with family and friends.

Hammer Time!

I wanted to post this picture to show how incredibly long Savannah's legs are. Brian's response was "Hammer Time"- since her outfit looks somewhat like Hammer Pants. This outfit is a 3-month. She is so long, but so tiny around the middle.

Here is a video clip of Savannah on the teddy bear floor mat just looking around.
