Snakes

(Background: Savannah is in bed, and supposed to be sleeping)

Savannah: Daddy, come here!

Daddy: (Brian walks in Savvy's room) What?

Savannah: Daddy, it sounds like there are snakes in my room.

Daddy: I made sure that there are no snakes in your room.

Savannah: But it sounds like a rattle snake and it is making a "ssssssss" noise. Please make it go away.

Daddy: There are no snakes in here- I promise.

Savannah: Oh. Okay. Good night Dada.

My New Blog

I needed to take my mind off some serious stuff going on and became hooked on Pinterest. As I was pinning I came up with the idea of creating a homekeeping blog... not housekeeping. I want to improve the way I keep our home and wanted to learn by doing. I created this new blog called, "Homekeeping for All" so that I can try new techniques, products, and strategies to keep up our home.

Afternoon at Disneyland

We made an impromptu Disneyland trip on Saturday. Small World is Savannah's favorite ride. I love how excited she gets when she see's the big building.

Shellac Nail

I have fallen in love with Shellac nails. It's like gel but MUCH better. It is thick (but feels light weight), shinny, and lasts about 3 weeks. The best part is that it DOES NOT chip. I have been going to see Melanie for almost 8 months and have grown close with her. I call it nail therapy. I love being around happy people and that's Melanie.

She asked me to post her new special on my blog and Pinterest:

Mention Pinterest and get $10 off a Shellac Manicure. She is at Salon Lujon in Fullerton and the number is (714) 738-1882.

I promise you wont be disappointed and will get hooked!

The amazing Melanie!

Pinterest

After many, many people told me about Pinterest I finally decided to see what the hype was all about. Actually, it wasn't until my mother-in-law told me about something she posted on her board that got me really excited to finally take that leap and sign up. Now, I am completely hooked. I have created about 20 boards and can't stop looking. My favorite thing to do is look at home decor for our next house. With the help of Pinterest I could have every room planned out and look as if a professional decorated it. I also love the DIY (do it yourself- had to ask Brian what that meant). I don't have a ton of free time but when I do I know to look to my Pinterest.
