I have fallen in love with Shellac nails. It's like gel but MUCH better. It is thick (but feels light weight), shinny, and lasts about 3 weeks. The best part is that it DOES NOT chip. I have been going to see Melanie for almost 8 months and have grown close with her. I call it nail therapy. I love being around happy people and that's Melanie.

ok. I've been trying to learn more about gel/shellac nails/polish and jumped over to your blog and saw this! Not only am I enjoying seeing how Savannah is growing, but maybe you can help me with my nail questions. I've heard about gel and shellac, but don't really know the difference. All i've heard is that it is faster drying and chip proof. I promised Ashlynn a reward of a special manicure but I don't know what to look for. And I don't want something too harsh for her little nails, like fake tips or harsh sanding down of the nail bed. I just want a longer lasting polish in sparkly pink! When I'm calling around to places, what should I ask for? Thanks! Give Savannah loves from us!
