She did it!

Two days ago Savannah rolled over from her back onto her tummy. Of course each time I tried to record this big event she became camera shy. Although, I do have a bunch of video clips of her staring up at the camera while giggling at her mommy making silly noises.

I wonder how much longer it will be for her to roll over from her tummy to back.
My Dad took this picture while my Mom and Dad babysat Savannah last night. Brian and I went on a Date night at Angeles Stadium for a Angels-Mariners game. Mariners WON in the 10th.

Busy Weekend

This past weekend we had lots of family in town. Friday we went to Disneyland, Saturday we went to the beach and my graduation at Chapman, and on Sunday we went to Brian's Graduation. Our little condo was packed. Don and Jane stayed at a near by hotel and my parents stayed at my Aunt's house- Aunt Grandma as she is most commonly called around here.

Aron bought a new Cannon super camera and took some amazing pictures.

My graduation was at 5 pm and was so awesome. There was a huge stage and all of my MBA friend were there. It was nice seeing them after so long. In this picture I am standing in front of Beckman Hall were I took all of my classes and worked as a grad assistant. The color of my hood was red and 'drab'. No Joke- in the scholastic world business is represented by drab. Other departments have brown or gold. Drab apparently is a mixture of both colors. It just sounds so 'drab'.
Savannah just loves Matt so much. He makes the craziest noises and she just loves it.
After the Graduation there was a reception on the fourth floor of Beckman Hall. There is an awesome view. If you look just left in this picture you will see The Pond, Angels Stadium and the Matterhorn.
We went to Angelo and Vince's after, and had a cake from Sam's Club. We love Sam's Club cakes because they are whipped frosting.
Over 11,000 students graduated from Cal State Fullerton. There were 149 in Brian's department. Since there are mostly girls in his department it was easy to spot Brian since he was at least a foot taller than all the people around him.
Brian ran into Emily at the Graduation. She got her BA in Communications and Brian got his in Communicative Disorders.
After the Graduation Brian went on stage and took pictures as if he was giving the commencement speech. I am not sure why his hands were so involved in his pretend speech.
There were alumni t-shirts made for each department with all of the graduate's names.
This was Brian's BIG HUGE SURPRISE PRESENT. Aron and I got him a SIGNED Matt Hasselbeck jersey and had it professionally framed in Seahawk colors.

Random Things on my mind...

I peeked in Savannah's crib tonight and I saw her entire thumb in her mouth. As her eyes were slowly opening and closing she just looked sweet and peaceful. Every morning she looks a little bit different. More cute, but less like me and more like her Daddy.

I was watching Jon and Kate Plus Eight tonight and it was the episode about the kids birthday. I am TOTALLY excited to plan her first birthday!

Brian is done with school and is home for about a month. It will be so nice to have him home all the time. What a change that will be. He was always gone last semester. Glad his BA is all over. During his Master he will have classes 3-4 times a week just at night.
This last week has been SO busy that it has just been easier to give Savannah a bottle instead of nurse, and when I was at work I forgot to pump. BIG MISTAKE. My milk supply is depleting. I am so mad at myself for letting that happen. I wanted to got until 8 months, but I don't know how long it will last. She is 4 1/2 right now. Why did I let this happen. Urrrrrr....

Brian and his Brother Aron are going to run the Disney 1/2 marathon in September. I am giving it some serious thought. I have not exercised for more than a year, and getting up to 13.2 miles will be a HUGE challenge for me. I am not sure if I even have muscles anymore.

D

Last Friday we went to Disneyland with family and friends. My parents were able to get us into Club 33. It is a private club located on the second floor in the New Orleans area by Pirates of the Caribbean. We celebrated Brian and Matt's Birthdays, Brian and my Anniversary and Brian, Matt and my graduation. Lots of things to celebrate! Savannah was able to go on some rides. The carousel and the Winnie the Pooh ride. We read Winnie the Pooh books every night with her and I really think she was making the connection on the ride. She definitely was looking intently at the characters during the ride.

As we were walking around Brian saw this guy, the coach of the Washington Huskey's Basketball time. He was on his cell phone, but Brian wanted a picture. So, we followed him all the way from the Haunted House to Indiana Jones until he was off his phone. He was so kind. He asked us a bunch of questions like why did we come to Disneyland today, how old our daughter was. Then he even took a picture with her too. Brian was super excited!

Matt's Graduation

Matt graduated from Fullerton Junior College after 15 years! He took a long 6 or 7 year break before returning last year. I am so proud of him. My Mom surprised him by having Matt's grandparents travel down by train to watch him walk during the ceremony. They have trouble traveling long distances so it was a really amazing surprise. His Grandma gave him a framed picture of him with his Dad from years ago. It was a great day, and I know that Matt's Dad is so proud of him.

Happy 3rd Anniversary!

Yesterday was Brian and my 3rd anniversary. Last year I thought, "I can't believe it's been two years already!" This year I think, "That's all?" So many major events have happened since we have been married that it feels like at least 6 years worth of marriage crammed into 3 years.

I can't imagine what life would be like if I had not married Brian. He makes me so happy. I feel incredible lucky to be married to my best friend. No body makes me laugh as much or makes me feel as special than Brian.
Although we have been married for 3 years we met at my cousin 's wedding in August 2002. Here are some pictures to remember some great times in the last 7 years!

We finally put the batteries in one of Savannah's toys. She really enjoys the noises... Lily is so confused.

Co-Workers are the best!

Today we had our monthly company meeting. As I started the meeting I noticed out of the corner of my eye that my boss had one white shoe and one brown shoes. Having just gone through this, I stopped and starred in amazement that it happened to someone else too. As I was looking down I glanced over and saw the Director of Counseling also had two different shoes. Then I noticed all of the Directors/Managers/CFO/CEO all had mix-matched shoes.

We all laughed until tears came! At this point the staff thought we were crazy so we basically had to tell the story of my shoes to everyone.

How to Spot a Working Mom...

This morning I was running so late. I rushed to take a shower, blow dry and straighten my hair, put on make-up, brush my teeth, and get dressed. I guess I should have paid more attention to that last part.

After sitting in meetings, walking around the office and talking with the Staff I sat down and saw this...

Happy Birthday Brian!

For Brian's birthday I got him an air soft gun. We took a ton of pictures of Brian posing with the new toy. I soon had to set some ground rules. See Next Photo...

Note: Chance (my parents dog) sits in this pose and in this spot when ever he is at our house. Brian is always trying to mess with him.

This was Brian's first day as Mr. Mom. He looks so cute with his Baby Bjorn strapped on him. Savannah is too cute in this photo!
Although I love putting Savannah in PINK clothes all the time, this blue outfit is adorable.

This is a good picture showing Savannah's curl. It sticks straight up from the crown of her head.
