Random Things on my mind...

I peeked in Savannah's crib tonight and I saw her entire thumb in her mouth. As her eyes were slowly opening and closing she just looked sweet and peaceful. Every morning she looks a little bit different. More cute, but less like me and more like her Daddy.

I was watching Jon and Kate Plus Eight tonight and it was the episode about the kids birthday. I am TOTALLY excited to plan her first birthday!

Brian is done with school and is home for about a month. It will be so nice to have him home all the time. What a change that will be. He was always gone last semester. Glad his BA is all over. During his Master he will have classes 3-4 times a week just at night.
This last week has been SO busy that it has just been easier to give Savannah a bottle instead of nurse, and when I was at work I forgot to pump. BIG MISTAKE. My milk supply is depleting. I am so mad at myself for letting that happen. I wanted to got until 8 months, but I don't know how long it will last. She is 4 1/2 right now. Why did I let this happen. Urrrrrr....

Brian and his Brother Aron are going to run the Disney 1/2 marathon in September. I am giving it some serious thought. I have not exercised for more than a year, and getting up to 13.2 miles will be a HUGE challenge for me. I am not sure if I even have muscles anymore.

Those are lots of thoughts! Shes so adorable! Im running 3 5K's this summer and then next year I want to do a half marathon, good for you for thinking of doing one this year! It takes me so long to get use to running!

Sorry about your milk. I wont lie bottles are easier but the nasty spit up and $100-$150 a month really stinks!

i bet you can get your milk supply back by pumping more and feeding her more through the day. Because I had to pump for 2 weeks when Keilana was born while we waited for some test results to see if she could drink milk. Anyway just by pumping I brought in my milk supply. But I am not really sure, through work I have a lactation specialist that I talk to about everything if you really have want to know.

I did forget to mention "power pumping." Its what they recommended for me since my milk was low. Basically you feed her or pump, wait ten minutes and then pump for 10 minutes, wait ten more minutes and then pump again for 10 minutes. You do this twice in a day and in 24 hours your milk supply is suppose to be way up.

I say, do what feels right for you in breast feeding and running. Good for you to even be thinking of it!

Savannah is such a doll! I can't wait until Parker is able to smile and laugh at us. We are sad to not be around anymore, but love looking at your blog!
