We're having a BABY!
Brian and I found out in May, and wanted to keep it a secret until at least the end of the first trimester. Well, it's hard for my parents to keep secrets and it was only a matter of time before everyone found out. So, here is the baby's first photo. I am only 6 weeks and 3 days. The baby's due date is January 31, 2009, but they told us to plan for the first week of February.
Brian and I were told that it could take a couple years for us to get pregnant. So after two years of thinking "if it happens it happens" we said both said one day that we wanted a baby. One month later (without doing anything different) we were pregnant! Our mid-wife said it is a miracle baby since women with endometeriosis sometimes never get pregnant.
Brian is sure it is a boy, and I am sure it is a girl.
So, since we found out this amazing news we have been making a lot of changes. We did not buy the 2-bedroom condo, and decided just to build more storage space in our current place. Brian and I are taking heavy school loads this summer and fall so that we have only one or two classes left after the baby is born. Brian is taking the GRE in October so that he can apply earlier for Graduate School. He is applying to Arizona State, University of Arizona, Cal State Fullerton, Loma Linda, Cal State Long Beach, BYU, Texas, Colorado, Ohio, and Cal State Fresno. Each Speech Language Pathology program only take 20 out of 300-500 applicants so we are basically planning on moving to any school Brian's is excepted to next June.
Some people have asked what we will do with Lily (our puggle). Since she is like our first child she is not going anywhere.
We are so excited for all of the changes happening in our lives, and will be blogging about our experiences!

IM SO EXCITED!!!
I did hear a rumor that BYU loves to accept males to the speech pathology program since the program is ALL females. He may have an edge there! Im at least crossing my fingers! It would be so fun to be so much closer and see each other more!
I'm so glad you let the 'baby out of the bag'. I have a time keeping secrets too, but sometimes I do OK. You will both be great parents, but try not to move very far from me!!!!!!!! That will be the closest baby to me then and I can get a baby fix anytime you will let me! I love you,
Yea!! Hey, have you thought of doing the Chinese calender?? You put in you r date of conception, and your b-day & it tells you if your having a boy or girl. We did it for Rylie & it was right!!! My sister in law swears that it is NEVER wrong.
Love the look of the new blog but mostly - LOVE THE BABY NEWS! We are so excited for you! congratulations! We hope you are feeling well.
That's awesome Kelly!!! Congratulations! Now your Mom can spoil a grandkid of her very own. And good choice on Lily. I won a golf game from a friend out here who bet we'd have given Sammy the boot by the time Kam was one...needless to say, he didn't know Lis very well.
