Although a baby's eyes can change up to one-year old the pediatrician said that by four-months there is a 98% chance they will stay that way. Right now they are blue and the blue around the pupil is starting to lighten up. I would love them for them to stay blue! I thought she was growing blond hair, but then when I woke up this morning it was all brown.
She is starting to smile when I kiss her cheeks and sing songs to her. Peter sang to her over the phone and she started to smile too. She is also starting to play around with her noises.
I finally got the courage to weigh myself and not so great. At her two week appointment I weighed myself and lost 28 pounds. Since then I have only lost 1 pound!! Thanks to the biggest loser and my friend Jen I am inspired to start a diet. I haven't been on a diet in 4 years. This will be interesting. I have 10 pounds to get to my pre- baby weight, but they doctor said that even before the baby I was 15 pounds overweight!
This week Brian turned in his applications for his Communicative Disorders Masters and I just turned in my application to the Ph.D. in Curricular and Cultural Studies at Chapman University. Brian is applying to school that typically have up to 1,000 applications and they only take 30-50 people! Even with amazing GRE scores and 3.5 GPAs people get rejected.
