Today is the first day of the fall semester. I love the fall semester because it is the semester with all the great holidays. It even smelled like fall today and the sunlight looked different. I ran to school during my lunch to pick up my books. As I was walking down the aisles I got really excited. I love buying new books to learn new subjects (although it is crazy expensive). I overheard a student nervously ask a bookstore employee how to find their books- it was their first semester in college. I started thinking about all the semesters and classes I have had and actually calculated it.
This is my 21st semester in college and I am taking my 81st and 82nd classes this Fall. For some reason I thought it would be a lot more semesters, but when I looked at my transcripts I was 5-7 taking during most fall/spring semesters and 2-3 classes during the summer semesters.
Now that I only take 2-3 classes each fall/summer/spring it feels like breeze. I don't know how I was able to do it before- there is no way I could do it now.

Does the Term "Professional Student" ring a bell? I can't believe you have endured that long? I could hardly get through 4years of High School before I was done with studying! I'm proud of you.
Happy Fall Semester! In the words of Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks, "I will send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils." Keep up the good work and study hard. PS: Savannah looks equally adorable and hilarious. That girl knows how to live the life in the pool! What a CA girl.
