Santa Claus

I just wanted to say how thankful I am for my friends at work. One of my co-workers sisters works for a non-profit that distributes baby formula to working moms. When I first was pregnant they helped me try to sign up for free formula, but I didn't qualify for the program since I am a salary-exempt status employee. However, once a month for the past four months I found a stack of formula (see picture above) in my office on my desk. Even though I thank her, she tells me she has no idea what I am talking about. Like it is no big deal that she is basically giving me $100 worth of formula. This month she told me it must have been Santa, and that he came early.
This got me thinking about the concept of Santa Claus. Little kids can hardly sleep the night before Christmas thinking of what Santa bring them. Although adults do not experience that same excitement on Christmas Eve it is still nice to think that their is still a Santa Claus out their to help us. What ever form the gifts are in (babysitting for a friend/family member, covering a shift at work for a co-worker, or surprising someone with baby formula) there is still a magical feeling of being the beneficiary of a Santa-type act, especially when we need it the most.
Thank you for all my Santas who have helped me this year. It was a year I needed it the most, and I will always be grateful.

I love secret santas! I remember one year when I was little my family picked a ward family to drop a secret santa basket off to, I thought it was the most exciting thing I had ever done.
